Some citrus oils including expressed Grapefruit Oil, can be phototoxic, meaning that it can cause skin sensitivity and over pigmentation when exposed to sunlight after using the oil. We recommend that you avoid being exposed to sunlight directly after using the oil and diluting it if you wish to use it topically.
